Mission of the Contractors' Registration and Licensing Board (CRLB)

The CRLB is a unit within the State Building Office and is charged with registering and regulating contractors, as well as licensing Commercial Roofers, Home Inspectors, Underground Utility, Water Filtration, Well Drilling, and Pump Installers in the State of Rhode Island.  Additionally, the CRLB receives and investigates complaints from Rhode Island homeowners against contractors.
