Requirements for those renewing an Underground Utility license:

1. 1,000,000 Certificate of Liability Insurance, indicating CRLB as the certificate holder.
2. $20,000 bond, indicating CRLB as the certificate holder.
3. Certificate of Worker’s Compensation Insurance, indicating CRLB as the certificate holder, must be submitted by applicants with employees.
4. Business ID# and date of incorporation for Corporations and Limited Liability Companies. Search a Rhode Island Secretary of State Business ID #.
5. $200 license renewal fee for 2 years.  Additional $50.00 late fee is assessed for an expired license.

The fee can be paid online.  Additionally, checks (please include the OpenGov Application # on check ) made payable to RICRLB may be mailed to:
